The Firm
Audren Rolland LLP is a business litigation law firm. We specialize in defending class actions. Our lawyers have been retained by some of Canada’s largest and most sophisticated organizations in more than fifty class actions, representing clients before all courts, including the Supreme Court of Canada. For more than twenty years, we have worked as a cohesive team, achieving exceptional results. We defend our clients aggressively with intellect, rigour and passion, and are recognized in rankings and directory listings such as The Best Lawyers in Canada®, Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory® and Benchmark Litigation®. Our offices are located in the Centre de commerce mondial in the heart of Montreal’s International District.
Practices
Our lawyers focus almost exclusively on class actions.
We have handled all phases of class actions, through trial
and appeal. We have also obtained early dismissal of cases,
both at certification and on the merits. Where a settlement
was the best solution, we have settled cases at the most opportune
time and on the most favourable terms.
.
We have defended class actions
in the following practice areas:
- Banking law
- Civil liberties
- Constitutional law
- Consumer law
- Medical law
- Professional liability
- Product liability
- Securities
- Transportation law
- Telecommunications law
Our Philosophy
We believe that the success of a case rests on two elements. First, the focus should be on results rather than process. Our lawyers work with clients to formulate a precise strategy right from the outset of a case, such that the client’s defense isn’t derailed by secondary or inconsequential arguments. This targeted, focused approach enhances our clients’ credibility before the courts. Second, lawyers must build a solid, trusting partnership with clients such that legal arguments and business considerations can converge. The results that our lawyers have obtained over the years reflect the success of these partnerships.
